too cool shoes

I really needed new shoes. I got these on my lunch hour yesterday. I'd been searching forever and decided that Friday was D-day. I don't own a lot of shoes. I try and find ones that are multi-functional. So when my only pair of casual brown shoes (that have lasted about 16 months) got soaked/flooded two weeks ago during the snow melt drastic shopping action was needed.

I like these shoes. They are very comfortable and fashionable as I got a few compliments when I wore them to work today. However I think they may be a wee-bit too cool for me. Compared to my other boring-dull shoes they pop! I think I just have to get into the swing of buying more pop! shoes. Probably not good on the budget but a plus for my tootsies!
