Here are the cards I finished this weekend. A very belated birthday gift for my sister-in-law Mel. I've been stitching for a long time, and due to my mothers genes, I have a lot of unfinished projects. I'm easily distracted by other crafts (ie: scrapping) but I always return to stitching. I thought embroidery cards would be small, easy to do and complete and tie-in with my new card making hobby. I bought Christmas card patterns from Card Inspirations and I want to complete a whole bunch of sets by November to sell (on ebay) or give away as gifts. Here are the three cards from the Pond Life kit. I think they could be really cute anniversary cards.
“How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak and strong. Because someday in your life you will have been all of these” ~ George Washington Carver
