The Oktoberfest Opening Ceremonies were yesterday at City Hall. The Festival was kicked off with the traditional Tapping of the Keg. RJ, Bauer and I went to see what it was all about and get into the Oktoberfest mood.

Here are Fritz (1) and Fritz (2) getting ready to hammer the keg. 
Lots of people wearing their past Oktoberfest buttons. Most of these are different "I AM Canadian" buttons.
And of course, anywhere we go now we end up bringing home a tuckered out puppy. Bauer had his picture taken with a little cute girl. Her family takes a picture of her every year at the opening ceremonies with a dog. He'll now be in someone's scrapbook or maybe even their blog!
