Yesterday we set out to explore a little of our surrounding area. We went to the Elora conservation area, about 30 minutes away. There is a camping area, swimming pond, tubing (which we will have to go back for when the water is warmer) and a few short hiking trails. There is also an access point to the floor of the infamous Elora Gorge.
The water is fairly shallow around the edges, so Bauer started walking through the puddles as we headed up stream. After a while he found his confidence and headed for the deeper areas. Of course being on the leash restricted his new found adventure, but saved RJ from having to rescue him from being carried away down stream. I mean, I couldn't possibly go, who would take the pictures of the rescue??
